Cutting Memory Wire

You can use memory wire to make rings, bracelets or necklaces. It is available in different sizes.

Once you have decided on the shape and size that you want to use, you also need to create secure endings so that your beads stay on the wire.

Technique:

Memory wire is made from toughened steel, and comes supplied as a large coil with a specified number of 'wraps' on the coil. It is important that you use special memory wire cutters when working with it. Ordinary nippers will become dented if you try to cut memory wire with them.
